World Day of Remembrance Event
The event will be in Woodward Park, Saturday, Nov 14th at 11 AM at the Gazebo Shelter in Woodward Park (near the BMX track). World Day of Remembrance is an International Day to remember those who have been killed in our community while riding a bicycle or as a pedestrian, in collisions with vehicles. It's usually celebrated on Sunday Nov 15th. We chose the Sat Nov 14th and moved it from City Hall in hopes we’d have a good turnout.
There will be guest speakers and a remembrance of all the victims in the City of Fresno since our last event Nov 2025. Ride your bike to the event, at the end of the event, there will be a ceremonial pace ride around WWP for every skill level. It is a chance for our community to move together in memory and hope.
