Climb to Kaiser June 28, 2008 13,500 Feet 155 Miles One Day

REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN

Preregistration is the only way to register for this event. You can register at Active.com or complete the registration form at www.fresnocycling.com or by contacting John Craft at kaiser@fresnocycling.com. Confirmation of your registration will be e-mailed to you. If we do not have your e-mail address and you would like confirmation of your registration, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Additional information is available on our website.

Check-in will take place on Friday, June 29 from 4-8 p.m. at the Buchanan High School multi-use room, corner of Teague and Minnewawa in Clovis. Check-in on Saturday morning will start at 5 a.m. at Buchanan High School.

Driving Directions:

From Hwy 99 Southbound:
Take Hwy 180 East, merge onto Hwy 168 East (this is a busy interchange coming right after the Hwy 41 interchange, be in the right lane). Take Hwy 168 East to the Herndon Ave. exit. Turn right on Herndon Ave. and immediately get in the left turn lane to turn left on Clovis Ave. Turn left onto Clovis Ave. Follow Clovis Ave. until you come to Teague Ave, turn left. Follow Teague Ave. to Buchanan HS, which will be on the left.

From Hwy 99 Northbound:
Take Clovis Ave. exit and turn (merge) right, towards Clovis. Follow Clovis Ave. until you come to Teague Ave, turn left. Follow Teague Ave. to Buchanan HS, which will be on the left.

Or take the Hwy 41 North exit and merge onto Hwy 41. Stay in right lane and take the Hwy 180 East exit, merge onto Hwy 180, stay right, and immediately take the Hwy 168 East exit. Take Hwy 168 East to the Herndon Ave. exit. Turn right on Herndon Ave. and immediately get in the left turn lane to turn left on Clovis Ave. Turn left onto Clovis Ave. Follow Clovis Ave. until you come to Teague Ave, turn left. Follow Teague Ave. to Buchanan HS, which will be on the left.

REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON JUNE 23rd FOR MAIL IN REGISTRATION. There will be day of registration for the Tollhouse Century and the Millerton Metric. NO on site registration for Climb to Kaiser riders.

AFTER THE RIDE

We will have an after-ride lunch/dinner beginning at 4:00 p.m. for all participants. Additional meal tickets are available for purchase. (Pre-ordered only)

FRIDAY NIGHT

Friday night the City of Clovis will feature a Farmer’s Market in Old Town Clovis from 6-8 p.m. If you would rather eat at a restaurant, these are a few within walking distance from several of the hotels.
